With the holidays approaching rapidly, the next 7 weeks are going to FLY by, probably faster than I realize. I am so thankful that the baby is coming after the holidays, so we have ONE more Thanksgiving and Christmas with our Little Man. It will be a sweet and reflective season as I realize his time with "just us" is coming to an end. However, I feel like he is going to receive the greatest (yet a bit late) Christmas present of all all......a sibling.
A sibling. It's a special bond that is more unique than all other relationships in a family dynamic. It is the only relationship that lasts, God willing, most of your life. Really? Yes, for example...your parents are with you from the beginning to the middle of your life. Your spouse/children are there from the early middle to the end. BUT your brothers and sisters are the only ones who have been there from the beginning to the end of life. What special people!
What a gift! So, as I think about giving Little Man a baby brother or sister....I want to share my sweet brothers with you. And yes, even with the special bond of siblings we have not always agreed or done right by each other, but we loved each other no matter what.

I was never blessed with a sister of my own, but feel that my sister-in-law has definitely filled that void. She is always encouraging and loves with her whole heart!
I am also thankful for my two brother -in -laws (Blake's brothers), who have been a source of love and support for the past 10 years!
Bryson (Blake's youngest brother by 14 years), Ross, and Blake
Blake and Ross are very close as brothers, talking everyday. He now lives in our city, and we get to see him more often! :)
Bryson, although much younger, always brings a bright spot to the mix!

I thank God for all four brothers and one sister that He has given me! What a blessing!
