Crazy for a Cozy Coupe

Yesterday Little Man got to ride in a cozy coupe that belonged to Clay and Sam.  It was so cute - he loved it!  As I watched him play, I couldn't help but laugh at how he got in, open and closed the door (a thousand times), and turn the steering wheel back and forth, back and forth!  With a look of serious concentration!  He thought was going somewhere....and going somewhere fast! My mind began to jump ahead 16 years when I will be watching him close the door of his car one day......and off he'll go!  I quickly (very quickly!) shook that thought away and enjoyed the moment of my little man - driving his cozy coupe in driveway....then looking up and me and saying, "ma ma" and clapping with excitement!  

I think a Cozy Coupe is definitely on the list for his birthday!!

Looking Back....Celebrating 6 years!

In June, we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, and looking at these pictures brings back so many memories.  We were soooo very excited and happy to be begin a life together! Awwwwwww.....I get butterflies just thinking about it.  As I look out our life today, I realize how blessed we have been.  We have seen so many of our dreams come true and lots of answered prayers in our lives.   What a journey it has been!!  I can't wait to see what the next 6 years brings!  Hopefully, more love, laughs and more little babies!

How can you have a bad day with my Little Man around? The answer is....you can't! Unless he is hungry or sleepy, always seems to be content, easy going, and happy! He laughs and giggles at the most random things.....and he is all smiles!!! Just thought I would share with you what my day consists of.....big toothy grins!!

Let Freedom Ring!

I love the 4th of July! One of my favorite times of the year! It is a tradition with our family that everyone gather together at Lake Barkley to celebrate our country and our family. We go boating, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming....then we eat and watch fireworks! We always have the best time and I can't wait for next year, already! watching the fireworks with Daddy!

Beach Time!

Recently, we enjoyed a wonderful trip to Destin, Florida with my family and spent a week hanging out with family! It was such a treat to be with everyone away from work, school, and responsibility. We loved seeing how Little Man reacted to the beach and ocean....seeing our little one's fingers and toes in the sand was something that we have always dreamed of. It was magical. He loved the ocean and the pool the most.....swimming has become his favorite hobby! Not afraid of the water at all!! Here are a few pictures of our first trip to the beach with our little guy:
