Our first family vacation to Disney was memorable and unforgettable to say the least! Blake and I had both been as kids, but never as adults or parents. So, it was just as new to us, as it was to Layton. We had an amazing time enjoying all of the excitement that it comes along with being in the "Happiest Place of Earth!" He truly had a good time! Every morning he would sit up in bed and say, "Wake up Mommy! Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck!"

Just remind me not to be pregnant during our next trip!
It was record breaking HOT in Orlando....it even got up to 100 degrees one day!

Me (26 weeks pregnant) and Layton
Mickey Ears!

Dinner at San Angel Inn...afterward we took a boat ride that was IN the resturant! So cool! :)

This was Layton's 3rd plane ride, so he definitely at ease with flying in a big plane! He took in a movie.....

and admired the clouds!
We swam, rode rides, watched parades, saw wonderful 3 D movies, ate great food....and did all of these things with our great friends Nat, Cindy, Nathaniel and Nolan. It was wonderful to have another couple with boys to experience the parks together. Thank goodness for Cindy! She had the place, times, and "must do's" memorized!! :)
We love these guys...what great friends!
Dinner at BierGarten (a German Restaurant)

3 - 2- 1...JUMP!

Blake got a special hug from Chip N Dale!

Our "big" boys pushing strollers and toting the backpacks!

Riding the famous Tea Cups

Blake rode most of the rides with him......but I got to ride a few "baby rides" like the carosel.
Watching the parade at Hollywood Studios

Getting ready for Toy Story! after an hour long wait! :(

His smile made the trip (and enduring the heat) sooooooo worth it!

Getting ready to see the Little Einsteins!

But the most exciting thing for Layton was "meeting" some of his favorite characters!!

The little boys had a fun time together. They are BIG buddies and enjoyed having one another to "pal" around with for the week! :)

Watching Playhouse Disney LIVE!

Yes, Yes....I'm sure they will not like this picture in a few years, but it was too cute!!

Nathaniel, Nolan and Layton

EXHAUSTED after a long day!!!

Did I mention that the little boys' favorite thing was the BUS RIDE back and forth to our resort!!?!?

Aren't they cute together!? Best buds!

One week of fun later, at 3:30 AM *central time* we had to leave for the airport....Layton was definitely not wanting to get out of bed!

We had a great time spending LOTS of quality time with him before little bro/sis arrives! We wanted to do something special with just him...and I hope that the times we had together as a family of 3 are forever engraved in our minds and hearts (and pictures for him to look back on)! Things will be changing, but only for the better! :)
We'll return to "Mickey's house" as Little Man calls it........soon.......maybe in 3 or 4 years.
