Genesis 9:7

"Be fruitful and multiply."  

No, this isn't an announcement that are having a baby! 

But I think that our church family is taking this verse literally!!  B, Little Man and I are in a small group and I think we are trying to have the most babies per group in the entire church!  Is there a race going on that I don't know about?  Let me explain.  

We are part of the most wonderfully awesome, supportive friends that we have known for over five years now.  Most of us started out in a "Young Married Couples" Sunday School class, therefore we have all had the privilege of watching each other turn from giggly newlyweds to awe struck first time parents!  And now, most are welcoming # 2!!!  They are lifelong Christian friends that we would be lost without. This amazing group of people have been there through ups and downs, tears and laughs, sad times and happy times, movie nights and game nights (before babies!), and finally births of our beautiful babies and deaths of many of our dear grandparents. They are our rocks of accountability..... constantly sharpening and making us better spouses and parents.   

We have 8 couples in our small group....and just in the last year alone...we have welcomed or will so welcome - 6 babies in just ONE year's time frame....yes, only 12 months!!!

Obviously this is a record year....and our small group is growing rapidly with little people.

All I can say is I am thankful for my brothers and sisters in Christ....and my new baby brothers and sisters that are new to this world!!
