The Cowboy Phase

Every little boy goes through little phases of pretend or dress up. 

Yes, boys "dress up" in their own ways, much differently than girls.  But just as fun and sweet! 

You know, like the cowboy phase, the superhero phase, the pirate phase, and the sports phase

just to name a few

Layton went through a HUGE cowboy stage at about this age.....

So, it makes me smile to think we are about to enter into this sweet phase again with Luke.

He has insisted that he needs boots and everything. 
Ahem, let's not bypass the fact that I had to special order them, double wide, for his ENORMOUSLY wide and huge foot.  He couldn't even get his lil' toes in the regular boots, no joke.

 But I'll order double wide boots any day for my "Seriously Handsome" cowboy!
