The ice storm of the century put everyone in a "stand still" for a few weeks. We were lucky not to lose our electricity or water, but many of our family members did! Little Man's Grammie and Uncle B stayed with us during this difficult time, while Little Man's Granddaddy stayed at home to make sure that things did not freeze. We truly enjoyed their company, especially Little Man! He soaked up all the attention from his Grammie and Uncle B. And I think they loved it too! Now, everyone is back home and everything is (mostly) back to normal in their hometown.

Lots has happened lately, but I'll post everything soon....but here is a small glimpse of what's to come!
Blake turned the BIG 3-0 in January!!! My "old man" was shown lots of sympathy love from friends and family. It's hard for me to believe that we met a DECADE ago when he just was 20 years old! I was only 19, by the way! So, technically he met me as a teenager. He's so much older than me...by 4 long months!! No, seriously, I couldn't ask for a better husband, best friend, and father. We have lots to be thankful for! God has blessed me to have the amazing privilege of sharing my life with such an incredible man. Even if he is 30!
...and Blake, Little Man and I had the most memorable Valentines Day! More details later...

Just lately I have noticed that all of the sudden since Little Man's teeth have come in, he officially looks like a toddler! Those cute lil' gummy grins w/ his first two teeth are definitely gone, but I am enjoying seeing smiles with his pearly whites. And he likes to show them off, any chance he gets!
