Thanksgiving (Part Uno)...Time Together

Our first celebration began at my parents house,
where the table of food looked like something out of a magazine.

See for yourself.

And it was as good as it looked....

Not to mention that these cousins are a cute as they look.....

and as funnnnnnyyyy too.....

But they sure do love each other.  Especially these two! They could pass for blonde haired , blue eyed siblings!
We had a great time being with family, but when I look back at our Thanksgiving this year......

I'm going to put Danielle at the top of my thankful list.  Let me say, we had a blast together...I really can't remember the last time we laughed, talked, shopped, and (pretty much) acted like true sisters all weekend long.  It was what I had always dreamed of....someone to be my side-kick, to be my encourager, to be my smile when I needed one.  She's it.  Thanking God that my brother married this precious girl!

*Just a side note: Danielle and I were gone for a couple of hours, we shopped for shoes and got pedicures.  Perfect girl time.  It was really, really needed.  When we returned, my sweet (losing her mind) grandmother (bless her heart! sort of) was like, "Where have you all been?  I can't believe you would just leave your babies like that?"  oh.my.

then we made turkeys for Layton's preschool class.  I loved having help with my little project!

It was such a laid back weekend, I didn't carry around my big-honkin' camera around my neck, but snapped some cute pics with my phone.
(oh, yeah - so thankful for the new iphone 4,  helloooo......it's amazing)

Luke played with tractors and the boys smiled for a quick moment....

while I loved on my sweet and beautiful niece.....
and Luke too!

And Uncle Blake got some loving from Mady!
while Aunt DD loved on my boy!
*Somehow missed even getting pictures of my parents. sigh.

Laid back.  Relaxing.  Family.  Food.

Does it get much better than that?

Thankful.
