footprints

When Layton was three weeks old, I decided to have his baby feet painted on a plate to hang in his nursery. Many times over the past two and a half years, I have loved gazing at his baby feet and marveling at how tiny they once were. It is something that I will always treasure, and pray NEVER gets broken.

So, when Luke was three weeks old, I took my second little one to have his little feet painted.. I couldn't wait to see the finished product, hanging right next to his big brothers'.

I love baby feet

(hanging above the nursery window)

Since I have two little boys, I pray that they will always be close. I hope they learn to love each other, fight with each other, pray with each other...but I want them to realize what a gift God gave them IN each other. What a special bond as siblings, but especially as brothers. No, they won't always be best friends, but I hope they will always know that they HAVE a friend....no matter what.

*Thanks to Chris and Missy for the awesome gift card for the Paint N Place. What better gift to receive than a hand/footprint of your children frozen in time forever. Love you guys! :)

Jenn,
I definitely let them do the writing! It's only 10 dollars extra! I don't have time...and with a 2 year old, he would break everything in the place before we left! ha!

I am addicted to doing it though. If I ever have a girl night, we love to go and paint!
