I Wanna Be A Sheep...

Bah, Bah, Bah, Bah!
Praise the Lord My Soul to Keep,
I wanna be a sheep,
Bah, Bah, Bah, Bah!

This is the song that I heard everyday when picking up Layton from Bible School! I think it might be his favorite!!

As we approach the sweet age of 3, Layton's comprehension of Bible stories and learning about God's word is growing rapidly. So, the theme, "High Seas Expedition", the story of Jonah was amazing to him!

This was his first time to attend Bible School as a participant and he LOVED it, with the exception of a few tears each morning during drop off. However, every afternoon, he would be smiling, dancing, and singing, telling me all about his day. The teachers kept complimenting his good behavior and that they thought he was a doll!
Wow, they definitely know how to make a momma feel great! :)

On Friday, there was a closing assembly where the little ones sang their songs in front of their families! I was so excited!

As they took the stage, I noticed he went to the back, shying away from performing in front of all the parents. I was a little disappointed, but realized that it is exactly his personality right now and I was proud no matter what!

How sweet! It just doesn't seem possible that he is old enough to go anywhere with a little backpack on his shoulders...
So great that he is learning all how the Bible!
