UPDATE:  
Baby Luke Sexton went to be with Jesus.  

This was Kristin's (his mom) Facebook status today:

  "Our arms are empty but our hearts are full. I never imagined I could experience such joy and pain at the same time. My heart aches to be home with my baby but he is healed in the arms of my Jesus and for that I am so thankful. I am so proud to be the mommy to such an amazing little guy. Thanks for your prayers."

Baby Luke Sexton, newborn baby boy with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).  He is fighting, but needs our prayers. They are hoping for a miracle. 

Sarah Irvin Gardner, 29 years old battling brain cancer who just became a new mother to a precious baby girl last week. They are also hoping for a miracle.


Luke's parents are from my hometown & Sarah's parents went to high school with my mom and dad.  Both are strong believers in Christ and trust that His hand is with them every step of the way.   I know that He will protect them during their difficult journeys. Nevertheless, my heart aches for them.
