Ronald McDonald House

Our small group from church participates in charities for the community and surrounding cities. Many times, it's in conjunction with the church, but this event....we (my friend, Andrea!) planned it on our own:)

We decided to make and serve a meal at a nearby Ronald McDonald House for families who have sick children at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. It was the least we could do. These sweet families are living moment to moment, through surgeries, doctors appointments and sitting sterile hospital rooms with their babies.  Providing a warm, home-cooked meal was a pleasure.

Did I mention that we love our small group?

Love their heart,
their passion for Jesus and their willingness to serve.
We feel honored to be "doing" life right beside them:)

What a blessing!

Our small group serves dinner once a month at the RMH here in Evansville. It is definitely a blessing to see the families enjoy a nice dinner prepared for them with love.

Wow! Amanda! That is great! :) What a great group you have to serve so often. We all left the RMH realizing that we must go back and do it again. It was such a blessing:)
