Tonight, Ella Marie arrived to a crowd of loved ones, all anxiously waiting to see her precious face, in person.
Grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins, and friends acted like little kids with their noses pressed to the door waiting for any sign of sweet Ella.
Everyone was shaking as they saw the plane land and taxi down the runway.
The moment was finally here, and it seemed like a dream.
Then we saw this....
a glimpse of a mother and her daughter....
And the very first moments of a family of FIVE. Complete, at last.
Two big brothers met, held & hugged their little sister...
and welcomed her home with a party!
I think she loved it!
And I think her Momma did too! Isn't she glowing?
Ella also met her Nana. She just might be her favorite:)
The feeling is mutual.
And Aunt Kerry is in love with her sweet niece,
while Nana's arms were full of grandchildren.
But, tonight was about something more than pretty balloons & homemade signs,
It was about a journey of faith, that could only be walked with the Lord...
trusting Him in each and every step.
trusting Him in each and every step.
And tonight, I witnessed the end of the journey with THIS precious girl in the arms of her mother.
An orphan no longer. She is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, & friend.
Tonight, there is ONE LESS orphan in the world because she is HOME.
I mean, who could ever resist this squishy face?
We love you, Ella!
Welcome Home, Welcome Home.
