With All My Love Then & Now

To my favorite boy of 9 years,

I love looking back to when it all started,

me and you. 

I begin reliving and remembering where we were in the beginning, 

before careers, before babies, before the true joys and stressors of life began, 

there was just us.  

Two people committing to living this life as one,

until the end, no matter what the days may hold.

And with joy, we have been so blessed to see nine beautiful years after that amazing day. 

My memory begins slowly swimming through the times we have shared together, 

places we've been, 

laughs we have shared, 

and children we have welcomed into our hearts, arms and home.  

and then the blessing of another sweet little babe to call our very own.

As diapers, hide & seek and bedtime stories become our day to day, sometimes it's hard to remember the teenagers who fell in love so long ago. 

Yet, even with the chaos of life swirling around us, it just takes one look and a smile, 

and we immediately count our blessings, 

in one another and our family.

As our years continue, there is no guarantee the days will always bring sunshine. Cold, winter days are likely. Yet, with His love guiding our paths, I pray we will always remember the love that we vowed one summer day, and cherish it always.

I love anticipating the moments ahead, 

wondering what the years will bring, 

as we grow together in the Lord, 

and in each other.

But most of all, 

I love writing the pages of our todays that will become our tomorrows.....together.
