3 Mommas.
5 boys.
Down Under.
This was the plan when Christina invited us to go and take the boys for an educational day. Leave it to the Kindergarten teacher to pick educational destinations!! ha:)
Layton was staying with my mom and dad for a few days visiting, so he missed out on all the fun:)
Feeding the birds
(or being attacked by them - they SWARM you when you walk in with food!
I probably scarred Luke forever!)
He is totally unsure about that pretty bird...he's even biting his fingernails over it!

Then the boys got to pet a (real) kangaroo and they ALL thought this was very AWESOME!;)
Love Lukes' face here....
Momma Kangaroo with a "joey" in her pouch

Jake was so sweet with Luke....he wanted to hold his hand and take care of him all day.
Then we went on a cave tour.
Besides the fact that there were tons of kids on the tour, the guide did not cut her speeches short to accommodate a very uninterested group of toddlers.
I appreciated her effort, but really?!?!
Anyway, it was beautiful.
But, then my son decided to sit down in the cave. (fyi: caves are muddy)
which resulted in this...
b.o.y.s.
After all that sweetness, it was time for a little scariness!
SNAKES!

Luke was brave enough to touch it!

"baby" Luke took a water break.....
and then Tom and Luke took a real break....
a nap.
Come on, these lashes get me....every time!!
Fun. Educational. Day w/ friends "down under"!
