His adorable class all saying, "cheeessseee!" for the paparazzi of parents!!
Layton is standing by Cole, his new best friend. I hear about him everyday......it's sweet to see friendships develop.
and......
oh, and of course, Luke tagged along with me too:)
He had a few minutes to play before the tour of the farm............
(and be stalked by mom with her camera, good thing he isn't embarrassed of me......yet!)
Then we loaded up on Mr. Chaney's wagon and went to the dairy barn.....
where the kiddos got a first hand look......
at Bessie.
Mr. Chaney did an incredible job at teaching the children about how Bessie produces milk, what it's used for and why it is so important.
One little one asked, "Do brown cows make chocolate milk?"
Bless his heart......don't you just love preschoolers:)
Petting the baby calf was the highlight of the day......
even for Luke.
and Mr. Chaney took right up with my baby boy!
oh, wait.....maybe this was Luke's favorite part of the day.....
and this was mine.....
seeing Layton and his best buds hugging (yes, hugging - four year old boys can hug!)
Seriously, he has the best little friends. And to think, he didn't know ANY of them in August.
It truly has been a blessing this year.
You should have seen the Mommas behind the scene, we almost teared up.
Love it:)
Hay rides, Cows, Hugs, and Lunch.....
........ finally ----> PLAY:))
I'd say without a doubt that Layton's first field trip was a complete success. Mommas got to interact and visit with other parents, kiddos loved every single minute of the farm (& ice cream) and what better way to end the day than to have play time with your new friends.
And it was sort of like Luke's first field trip too. I loved seeing both boys have such a good time. And so did I!
Such a good time = Such a good nap!
