Beautiful Spring Days

Spring is here and we are so excited, can't you tell by this happy face?

Beautiful days like this deserve having a picnic lunch in the backyard. Luke was asleep inside (don't worry, I had my monitor with me!) so it was a great time for just Layton and I!

This is a most precious flower in the world, at least to me. It was hand-picked during our picnic by a special little guy! Seriously, he picked it himself and said, "This is for you Mom! Put it on your ear." I think he meant behind your ear, either way, I was loving every minute. Hopefully, he will be this sweet to a special little girl one day....but for now, flowers are picked for Mommy.

and his Lighting McQueen tricycle!

(oh yeah, and the hat is a must lately too!)

Our Lukey Bear finally woke up, just in time to say hello, get his belly full, give his Mommy some sweet smiles, suck on some fingers, enjoy the sunshine...and....

fall back to sleep!
