Officially A Soccer Mom Who Drives a MiniVan

Yep. 

Just like that.  It happened.

And in the very same year.

Blake and I purchased a van at the beginning of the 2012, and now....(drum roll, please)

I'm officially a soccer mom. 

And with that dramatic scene, my cute blonde headed boy venture onto a field that I know nothing about. It's a new sport for both Blake and I; yet, I have a feeling, we are going to like it!

Our first practice was last night and I couldn't get over how cute he was in his little socks and chin guards.

Layton began to learn the basics from his coach and teammates....and he caught on pretty quickly. 

 

 Luke was stuck with me on the sidelines.  He kept saying, "I play soccer too!"  Poor little brother.  Soon, buddy, it will be your turn!

But it wasn't anything that TowMater couldn't fix.  Before long, he was preoccupied. 

Well, until he had to go potty! But when you have to go, you have to go!

After a quick bathroom break, Luke was ready to face Daddy in his very own soccer game:)

We left our very first practice with a smile and a little boy awaiting impatiently for his first game! 

 He is ready to use his new kicking skills that he learned from his coach (and Miss Mendi!), which we love, he was great with the boys, so patient and fun!

But before saying goodbye, there was one last water break and a "good job" hug from little brother (totally sweet!!!!)

It's official.

My first day as a minivan driving soccer mom -- CHECK!
