A Bottle and A Bunny

Luke drank from a bottle today.
It was his second bottle since birth. He doesn't seem to mind...yet.

Since I am exclusively nursing, I knew I needed to introduce a few bottles to him or he WILL NOT take them the older he gets. Trust me, I've been through that battle before. Layton refused the bottle...he finally gave in and started taking one at 10 months old! Yes, I fed him every meal for 10 months....that's dedication. This time, I have class coming up in April and I will HAVE to be gone for a few days. So, Luke will have to have Mommy's milk through a ba ba!

p.s. Grammie LOVED giving him his bottle!

The Easter Bunny, umm....is scary.

No wonder kids are terrified of him.

While we went to the mall today, we passed by the bunny...I saw at least 3 kids crying begging NOT to sit in his lap. My child was one of them. I don't blame him, so I didn't force the issue. But Layton did want to give him a high five, which was alright with me!

The trip to them mall was for Layton because he was in dyer need of some summer shoes. He's grown a entire shoe size since last fall, he now wears an 8 1/2!

The girl who was helping us try on shoes kept referring to Luke as a "she", over and over. Hello, no hair bow, and he has on BLUE!

He didn't even know we were at the mall...he slept the entire time!

And a trip to the mall always end with a ride on the carousel.
