Walking Riding Around the Neighorhood

Spring around here, which means nightly walks around the neighborhood...or should I say "rides" around the neighborhood.

However, this spring, there has been a change...a graduation of sorts. One that makes my heart pound. The boys have slowly graduated each year from stroller, to wagon, and now to battery powered VEHICLE! So as we walk....they ride! It was cute, but somewhat scary...no matter - the boys had fun!

As they drove off into the sunset, I wondered with a large lump in my throat, "Is this the same feeling I'll get when they are 16?" Yes, I'm sure it is!Good thing this little boy is still in "stroller mode" - I hope he stays like that for a very long time. :)
