The Bassinet

In this beautiful bassinet, lays my newest little guy. He is sleeping soundly and has no idea how special it truly is.

It is almost 55 years old, belonging to Luke's great grandmother, Anna Rae (Gran). She used it with Luke's grandmother and his great uncle, Jay. Then she used it with all three of her boys, including his daddy. Uncle Jay used it with his three children. And I have had the privilege of using it with both of my sweet boys.

That is a lot of Ross/Richey babies who have slept in this beautiful bassinet.

I wonder if there will one more little Richey to sleep here....only time will tell! But Mommy is sure hoping so ;)
