Sick soon-to-be big brother.
For an entire week, he easily feel asleep anywhere and everywhere. I felt so sorry for my little guy.
We have been so careful in the past few months to NOT get the flu, H1N1 or a cold. Taking drastic steps like not going to church (the nurseries are breeding grounds for sickness), and limiting our time out in the real world. It has been very hard, and sometimes I have really missed our play dates, music classes, library story time, small group and outings to the mall/Target. But to keep Layton, myself and the baby healthy...it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.
Fast forward to this week.
Layton gets sick, breaking his 6 month healthy streak. So sick, in fact, that it last an entire week and bad enough to postpone my scheduled induction. God knows best and His timing is perfect. Therefore, I am not dwelling on what could have been. I am just thankful that Layton is better and going to be 100% healthy and fever free by the time the baby comes!
Speaking of baby, there was no change...I was still 2 cms and 80% at my appointment yesterday. We officially have 7 days until my due date. I can't believe that I may actually make it to 40 weeks, again! He/She is very content, warm and happy...not making any plans to join us any time soon.

I just knew there'd be a baby on Monday!! But you're right, God knows best! Keep us all posted!! Hope Layton feels better soon!
Yes, God's timing is perfect! Your little bundle will arrive in His perfect precious timing.... don't-cha just love that about our GOD!?!?!!! I sure do.
Glad Layton is feeling better! It's awful when our babies are sick.
Yes, Dr. Hewitt is my doctor. I've been going to him since I moved to BG in 2005. Of course, I've never had him deliver a baby or anything major, but so far he's been great!!
Glad Layton is on the mend! Looking forward to hearing about the baby's arrival!
