Blog Makeover & Fab 5

First of all, I want to thank Faith @ A Design of Faith for my blog makeover! She was easy to work with and so sweet! You'll have to check her out if you are interested. Doesn't it look fabulous?

Speaking of fabulous...it's time to give ode to the things in life that make our life a little more fabulous and whole lot easier! Emily, who began this crazy carnival, has lots of people joining in, you should too!

Here are my 5:

My Canon Rebel XTi

this might be more of an obsession. Since December 2007, when I received this as a gift, I have taken over 10,000 pictures. Yes, I said, ten thousand. I realize it's a bit ridiculous, but I had some really cute subjects that didn't seem to mind. The only thing that did "mind" was my computer that decided to stop functioning because of the hard drive was.....ummmm, full. A new hard drive was promptly put in to remedy the problem. Now I'm back to picture taking!

Potty coversThe one obstacle I didn't anticipate with potty training was GROSSNESS of public toilets. So, these creations have made it much easier. Public bathrooms look much worse when you are taking your child who likes to touch everything! So, these have helped. But every time we leave, I want to pour GermX all over him! Ahhhh!

DVR

With two little ones, and with the weather getting more beautiful each day, I don't have time or want to sit inside & watch TV. However, there are few shows that I hate missing. So, my solution - DVR! I just record my favs and then late at night catch up, without commercials! It's my time to unwind and relax from running around all day!

The Mug
All the women that live within one hour of my town, you know that this mug is a lifesaver after having a baby. This is your "gift" from the hospital. Even though they have downsized since baby #1, I still can't live without it. It helps me drink my much needed 64 ounces of water a day, which helps me keep making lots of "mommy's milk" for little Luke.

Birthdays!

Even though it isn't a "thing", it sure has made me feel fabulous! It was a great birthday! Who says getting old isn't fun? I have to, respectfully, disagree.

What's your Fab 5?

I'm with you on the DVR...I can hardly watch "live" TV anymore, because I'm so prone to fastforwarding through the commercials.

I'm cracking up at the mug! I do believe that I now own three, but I don't think anyone ever uses them!

Love...love..love your blog makeover and your Fab "5". DVR is the only way I ever get to watch any TV around my house, so I think it is wonderful! I love the Med. Center Mug too, always a great way to get your water in. Thanks for commenting on my blog, your boys are so precious!
