Playful Picasso & a Birthday

Definition of "GIRLS NIGHT OUT": (verb), set time for girls to be free of all responsibilities so they can relax, talk, eat and laugh. Boys are not allowed! (exception: nursing baby boys named Luke!)

Our small group girls from church had a "night out" and it was so fun! We had a Playful Picasso party with Amy and Rachael! It was great to gather and learn how to paint on canvas. We chose the cross, but they do lots of different designs like pineapples, owls, flowers, sports, and holiday paintings.

Here we are painting a cross, step by step.

And......here is my masterpiece! I can't wait to find the perfect place for it!

The girls can't get together without eating, so we all brought a little something to snack on. I made this fruit pizza! Yummy! You can find the recipe here.

Also, today is my birthday! Happy 31! I woke up this morning to a little boy singing me , "happy birfday, dear momma!", and another little boy giving me precious gummy grins. Who could ask for more? Not me. I feel blessed.
